The Keysville Ruritan Club held its August meeting in the Fellowship Hall of Ash Camp Baptist Church recently. Keysville Volunteer Fire Department Chief Lynn Duffey was introduced and gave an informative program on the department. The department has 26 members, all volunteers, and they have no paid employees. Last year the department answered 142 calls, with 15 of those being house fires. The majority of the other calls were automobile accidents.
