On Aug. 5, the Keysville Ruritan Club volunteered help to benefit the Randolph-Henry High School Band Boosters Club. The Band Boosters held its annual Fried Chicken Lunch to benefit the club and the Ruritans cooked the chicken for the event. Lunch consisted of fried chicken, string beans, mashed potatoes and bread. Members of the Band Boosters took orders prior to the lunch and sold approximately 350 plates. The Ruritans said they enjoyed working with the club members and are proud of the work the young people did. Pictured are members of the Keysville Ruritan Club and friends of the club.
