With one week left in the regular season, Statesmen golf lies at 16-0 in the district and 18-0 overall.

“We have had more competition for the top eight this year than ever. I feel we are peaking at the right time,” said coach Kelly Powell. The Statesmen will play in the conference tournament on Sept. 28. “The top eight are Maggie Adams, Mitch Dunn, Gunnar Lacks, Evan Mason, Eli Moore, Matthew Myers, George Thomas Sandridge and Nathan Towery,” said Powell. “If all team members continue to compete we will be successful in our post season play.”
