John Willis Morton, Jr., age 36 of Charlotte Court House,  passed away on September 9, 2015  in Lynchburg.

He is survived by his father and mother, John Willis Morton, Sr. and Iris S. Morton of Charlotte Court House; his sister, Joyce Morton of Charlotte Court House; two aunts, Virginia Simon of Brooklyn, New York and Rachel Spencer of Americus, GA; one great uncle, Willie Webb, Jr. (Lillian) of Baltimore, MD;  great aunts,  Audrey Morton and Karen Webb of Baltimore, MD, Ruby Shuford and Mary Jones of Charlotte Court House, and Esther Bridges of Richmond; a special friend, Tammy Walters of Appomattox; and a host of cousins.

Funeral services were held Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Morrison Grove Baptist Church in Charlotte Court House with interment in Union Cemetery.  Condolences may be expressed at www.JeffressFuneralHome.com.   Jeffress Funeral Home of Charlotte Court House was in charge of arrangements.
